Kurma, She Turtle

Kurma is loosely designed as a Green Sea Turtle, swimming merrily with a few tropical fish. There are endless possibilities to hook her with bright cheerful fish. Pull the fish and seagrass colors out to the border for a great look. You could also outline all the squares in the border for another great look. For the water, I suggest using 3 - 5 values of the same color or similar with darker on the bottom to lighter at the top or a dip dye would be effective, too. Kurma, in Hindu Mythology came around in civilization at times of great crisis to restore equilibrium to the world. I refer to my turtle as a She, because I believe a female would do this.

Kit available with cut wool. We will cut using a #6 and smaller if needed for areas, unless you specify otherwise.
