I learned Rug Hooking from my mother-in law who was the Peachy Bean in my business name in the 80's. With a lifelong love of fiber arts & crafts, this art grabbed my love from the very beginning. In 2002 I drew my first pattern and committed to my new venture. Hand Dyeing wool soon followed along with Teaching and writing "How To" articles for Rug Hooking magazine.

At Fluff & Peachy Bean Designs I am dedicated to supplying premium hand-dyed wool, whimsical patterns, supplies, and tools for rug hooking, wool applique and other crafts using wool. My passion for quality and creativity drives everything I do. I take pride in offering unique and vibrant materials that inspire other ruggers to bring their imaginative projects to life. The story behind the name of  Fluff & Peachy Bean Designs: My mother was born premature in 1920, weighing just over 2 lbs. Her father responded to her at first sight as "a little fluff of a thing” and the name stayed with her all her life. Peachy Bean was the nickname from early age of my mother-in-law who taught me to hook. I adored both of them and the three of us had many laughs and shared experiences along with a mutual love of fiber arts and crafts. In tribute, I named my company after them.
